Image Courtesy EPMSA Newsletter The City of East Point features some beautiful, historic buildings, and now we’re sharing one of them with the world. In a public/private partnership, the City of East Point and a film company have restored and improved the building to make it a magnet for both film location scouts and tourists alike. The first project filming in the old library is named ‘Stranger Things’ and a quick Google search found that this is a Netflix series starring Winona Ryder set to be released in 2016 (no word on whether or not Ryder will be filming in East Point). And, according to the January Downtown East Point Newsletter, location scouts in the area are highly interested in filming upcoming projects in the old library.
